Keith - I've heard good things about Mail Chimp, too ;-) For me, deliverability is top priority, so I choose Aweber, but it's important to find something that works for you both in terms of functionality and usability.

Brazen Careerist is competing in the "LinkedIn" space, but appears to be more for employee types than entrepreneurs. It looks fresh, and has a great concept, but whether it will go viral and play a key role in professional networking is for time to tell. I'd recommend using it if you're ambitious about your career, along with LinkedIn, and continue to keep them updated. You never know who you'll be able to connect with there, and how it will help you until you use it. The nice thing is they are already using Facebook Connect, which means you can probably set up your profile, and keep fresh content on their through syndication from your primary social networks - similar to the way LinkedIn syndicates your Twitter stream. I like it - go with it and keep me posted!
